Effective from 21st January, 2025
By booking a service with Clean Easy UK, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are in place to ensure clarity, safety, and fairness for both parties.
1. Bookings & Access
All cleaning services are for properties only and must be booked by the legal tenant, homeowner, or someone authorised by them.
Clients must provide accurate information regarding the property type, condition, and any special requirements at the time of booking. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided that impacts the scope, time, or difficulty of the job, the booking may be subject to a price increase.
Access to the property must be granted at the scheduled time. If our team cannot gain access, a call-out fee of £20 will apply.
Clients (or authorised representatives) may inspect the work at the end of the service.
2. Scope of Work
All cleaning services are delivered according to a detailed checklist (available on request). Clean Easy UK will perform the agreed scope of work to a professional standard within the allocated time.
Standard cleans are capped at 6 working hours, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cleaning Types & Specific Conditions
3.1 End of Tenancy Cleans
Designed for properties being vacated. Includes deep cleaning of all rooms, interior windows, oven, fridge/freezer (if defrosted), cupboards, and external appliance cleaning.
Interior cleaning of washing machines and dishwashers is not included unless pre-agreed.
The client has 48 hours from completion to report any genuine omissions. If valid, a one-time re-clean will be arranged at no additional cost.
Clean Easy UK is not liable for issues raised after the 48-hour window or after third parties (e.g., movers, inventory clerks) have accessed the property.
3.2 Residential Cleans
All residential cleans are subject to a custom quote based on the site condition and information provided by the tenant/homeowner. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided that impacts the scope, time, or difficulty of the job, the booking may be subject to a price increase.
Residential services are for ongoing or one-off cleans of occupied homes.
Clients are responsible for removing valuables or breakables before the clean.
Our staff are not permitted to move heavy furniture or appliances unless prior agreement is in place.
The client must ensure water, electricity, and safe access are available.
3.3 Commercial Cleans
All commercial cleans are subject to a custom quote based on the site condition and access. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided that impacts the scope, time, or difficulty of the job, the booking may be subject to a price increase.
The scope will be limited to pre-agreed areas. Additional areas will incur extra charges.
Clean Easy UK does not handle hazardous waste, sharps, or industrial spills.
If regular contracted cleaning is agreed, late or missed payments may result in service suspension.
3.4 Airbnb Cleans
All airbnb cleans are subject to a custom quote based on the site condition and access. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided that impacts the scope, time, or difficulty of the job, the booking may be subject to a price increase.
Airbnb cleaning is based on rapid turnaround and includes bed-making, surface disinfection, kitchen & bathroom reset, and towel/toiletry restock (where supplies are provided by client).
Clients must ensure timely communication of guest check-out/check-in times.
Same-day calls for cleaning will be charged a premium price.
Inventory checks, damage reporting, or laundry services are not included unless requested/pre-arranged.
4. Liability
We are insured with Public Liability cover. However, Clean Easy UK is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage, wear, or discolouration
Damage caused by standard cleaning products on improperly maintained surfaces
Undisclosed fragile, damaged, or faulty items
Mould, limescale, or stains that cannot be removed by reasonable cleaning methods
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a charge of 50% of the cleaning fee.
If our team is turned away without notice on arrival, the full cleaning fee will apply.
Clients can reschedule with a minimum of 24 hours' notice, subject to availability.
6. Payments
Payment for is due 7 days after service unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit/debit card, and approved business invoicing.
Late payments may incur a £15 administration fee and statutory interest charges.
7. Re-Cleans & Complaints
Complaints must be made within 48 hours of the service. We will assess and offer a free re-clean if we determine the complaint is valid and within the original scope.
Re-cleans are limited to missed areas only and are not full repeats of the original clean.
8. Photos & Quality Control
Our team may take before and after photos for quality control and dispute resolution. These are for internal use only unless authorised by the client.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, power/water outages, access issues, illness).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
